Started work on the radiator setup, bought a Koyo EP3 radiator and started fitting that into the new front subframe, unfortunately there is little left of the original subframe to make the radiator fit snuggly. Took 1 pic before I started, will post the rest when I get to it.

Image

Also started with the brake setup, chosen for Wilwood Superlite 6-piston to fit the 298 x 32 mm disc.
I have this thing figured out so that I do not have to give in to much offset to both clear the lower arm joint/bolt from the disc and clear the caliper with the high offset ITR wheels...I think I will end up with an ET of around +45~+43 when I'm done to meet the clearances. The ITR is +50.
Please don't mind the rotation direction of the caliper, This is just fitment..

The disc and caliper:

Fitted on the car:

Also finished mocking up the complete rear, calipers completely rebuilt, new EP3 discs, new parking brake cables, toe-links installed etc etc

Hi All,

Time for another update, today was like christmas nd i want to thank 2 people for that, Neil Wallace @ Geartronics he is the paddle shift guru. My old system wasn't up to par, so he advised extensively and also explained me the other option i had. In the end i chose his system as it is the best Price vs. Quality system. You can see on the pictures that the wuality is second to none. Simply amazing how all parts a build up and machined.

Furthermore i want to thank Adrian Daniels @ Image for hooking me up with a original factory racers Mugen Throttle body. The Dry sump system is still @ DHL unfortunatily but wil follow soon :D ...

Pictures say more then words:

The paddle shift system (almost complete the GCU (gearshift computer unit) and a few other parts are yet to be ordered):

The 2 way paddle's so i can shift also with my paralysed arm:

Image

The 12 volt compressor to provide the compressed air, great quality with rubber bushings for silent mounting:

Image

The Accumulator, to store compressed air, as you can see this is a custom made one (no adapted fire extinguisher bottle like with other systems)

Image

The Valve assembly 2009 spec. as you can see with great machined bottom end:

Image

The gearbox actuator:

Image

The Throttle blipper:

Image

Custom made momo steering wheel 340mm (without predrilled holes and in alcantara):

The whole system:

And last but not least the Mugen Throttle body complete with penny & giles tps:

That was all from santa's lair :D
