Dit is een studiemodel van de USDM Civic Coupe. Het wel of niet uitkomen van dit model heeft niet veel te maken met het model waar deze thread over ging.

Wat ik heb gegrepen uit Honda's officieÃ«le pers berricht is dat europa alleen de 5deurs, 3deurs en een IMA gaat krijgen dus geen coupe's meer.

Hier wordt nog niets gezegt over type-R modellen, lijkt me sterk dat Japan geen 3-deurs type-R meer krijgt, als je de geruchten moet geloven welk vermogen (240-250PK) wat de nieuwe CIVIC type-R gaat leveren is in dat geval mijn vraag wat gaan ze doen met de DC-5 type-R (in de U.S gaan al wel geruchten dat de Acura RSX eruit gaat).

For the Japanese market, an emotional and stylish sedan which goes beyond the concept of the traditional Civic was developed. For the U.S. market, 2-door and 4-door types were developed, while a 4-door was also developed for Asia and 3-door and 5-door types were developed exclusively for Europe. Hier staat niet in dat Europa geen 2 deurs krijgt. Hier staat alleen in dat de 3 en 5 deurs exclusief zijn voor Europa, maar niet dat de coupe exclusief is voor USDM. Dus de coupe zou wel naar Europa kunnen komen.

Ok ben ik met je eens, maar wat jij ook zegt en wat in het bericht staat is dat de 3 en 5 deurs exclusief voor europa zijn, krijgen ze in Japan dan geen CTR meer?

Misschien wat ver gezocht maar zou et niet kunnen zijn dat nu de CTR er in coupe vorm komt op basis van de USDM 2006 CIVIC SI?

Er gaan momenteel zoveel geruchten rond. M'n dealer weet het allemaal ook niet precies, wel wist ie te vertellen dat er een nieuwe crx komt....als dat waar is..

De nieuwe CTR zal denk ik pas in 2007 uit komen aangezien de nieuwe civic volgend jaar uitkomt. Ik betwijfel als het dan in coupe vorm komt.

Ik wacht maar af.
