F22c in Europe?

Post by Benjdmin »

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody has any news about this.

Ive been reading a lot about the JDM 2.2 engine. (only good things!)

In the UK they have had really good gains with just a Toda ex-manifold and Hondata.

Does anybody know if they are going to put the F22 into the European AP and why they havent done this already?

Seems to me that its simply a better block since tuners such as ASM or J's Racing are praising the AP2 so much.

Thanks for the help, :D

Rumour is the F22 is coming in the S2k club racer, but whether the club racer is going to be fiction or fact, is up to Honda :) . So no F22 for now and anytime soon.

Club Racer? Is that the ugly blue sack of sheet that they released in the US?

I called Honda Europe but they would not give me a straight answer, I thought someone on here might know.

A friend of mine who owns a Honda dealership in Germany told me in spring that the 2007 model would have the 2.2l engine.

He also told me that you would be able to order them in white!

The part about being able to order them in white is true but the 2007 models are still AP1. :x

Maybe 2008 :?: I hope so!

Yeah its not GP white (too bad), its not Champ White either.

Its some strange pearl white, like almond or something.

Im disappointed!

My dream would be a GP white AP2(JDM spec engine) with black interior and a blue soft top. OMG cream!

Found something:

Platinum White Pearl, I can only say if I like it or not if I see one in real life.

The Netherlands and Germany fall in the same Honda market area (North) so must be the some with regards to models and engine spec.

Yep they do, so Im hoping to see some white ones at the dealerships over here some time soon.

They are so expensive here, you hardly ever see them.

I dont really know why? These are the cheapest new prices Ive found. Germany (28500), here in NL (45000)

That's because of BPM (tax) :x

Don't forget the BTW (19%) and normal tax for the Importer

BTW (VAT) is not needed if the secondhand car is over 6 months old or has more than 6000KM's on the clock.

Even if you import a new car that has 0km on the clock, if the UE 10% and the national tax is already paid in the country your importing from within the EU you just need to pay the BPM.

12519€ is the BPM for a brand new S2000

If you import a new S2000 from a dealer in Germany you would end up paying about 41000€ instead of 45000€/49535€ in NL.
