Anders was een project van dit caliber ook niet mogelijk geweest (de uren zijn al ontelbaar)..... Dan had nu waarschijnlij rondgereden in een FN 1.8 sport oid... Ookniet verkeerd maar dit is natuurlijk wat unieker / leuker

Ok guys, we now have a rolling chassis again, all components installed and testfitted prior to paint, all the brandnew coated suspension arms and uprights, the whole shabang. next is to fit the seatbelts and seats and the fuel system, thereafter the gearshift mechanism and then we're good for paint.

Then began fabricating the new front radiator support and installed it on the car, took me all day to build:
Since I removed all the support for the top , I built a new frame brace that both supports the top and holds the fans. The oem lock is removed and the hood will be locked by aerocatch locks:
Then I mounted the radiator:
Then mounted the brace, it is removeable so that the radiator can be replaced easily from the front:
Then mounted the fan, one already arrived, the othed is on it's way:

Niles and I hate eggs so we ditched the family and went into the workshop today......
First we built a bracket to mount the electric fire extinguisher bottle:
Then we built a drain tube for the drysump tank in order to be able to remove the oil and not having to remove the drysump. The hose ends under the car with a -12 cap where we can drain the oil. The tube runs under an angle to clear the toe link arm..:
We also modified the seat frames and mounted the seats:

For the critics : we turned the fan brackets around and re-mounted the fan, it's now 4mm from the radiator with 2400 cfm blowing power..........
