Het is idd NH0, originele DC5 kleur.
Daan: Die maat is vooralsnog niet leverbaar maar komt wel in 2011. En zo nog meer s2k setups.
En nog maar een update
Speciale water gesneden Spoiler Mounts:
En een sneak preview van een aankomend 'project', onder de dc5 geparkeerd even
Zie http://www.projectdc5.com
PS: Binnenkort betere foto's (shitty iphone quality)

ENGINE PUT IN!
Engine specs: http://www.projectdc5.com/garage/it-arr ... ion-engine"
Pictures of the engine being installed:
Installing the Carbon Seats
Despite the whole car was already painted, we still had to do some welding to fabricate seat mounts. Reinier again took the welding torch and started to work! Each seat has a weight of only 4.5KG. The passenger seat is removable for the actual races.
Radiator / Oil Cooler
Our enourmous radiator was a bit larger then expected, so we had to cut the subframe in the front and reweld it a bit lower. We also installed the Setrab Oil Cooler, nicely in the middle of the front bumper’s air vent.
Water Pump / Power Steering / Alternator
We removed all belt driven parts from the engine: The airco pump, the water pump and the hydralic power steering:
- Water pump is replaced by a Mezeire electrical pump. This is mounted on the K-Tuned Blockoff plate (where the original water pump was installed).
- Airco: Duh… removed forever
- Power steering: We removed this as well, replaced by a electric power steering rack from the EP3.
- Alternator: Also removed and replaced by a brand new alternator from a B16 Engine.
Wires, Wires and more Wires…
The last couple of weeks we have been working on the wiring. We first had the idea to use the original wire-loom and remove all wires we did not need. After cleaning up this loom for days and days, we decided to get rid off everything (wires, fuse boxes, relais, etc) and start all over! We just installed the engine harness and cut off all ECU wires! Thanks to electronical specialist Remco we now almost have a brand new electrical/wiring plan and schematics ready. Our mechanic Toine got us a new fuse/relais box and next week our ECU will be back in with Hondata installed, so then we can start the new wiring!
We got rid of all this:
Leaving us with this:
We also fitted in the dashboard and made some moulds for the sheets of alu/carbon that have to be fitted in to be able to install our switches and race dash. We also installed the battery, a dry-cell Odyssey PC680 model. To be continued…
Some interior parts
This weekend we started working on the brakelines. HEL Brakelines has a special ORANGE colored brakeline that we use. We also installed the hydrylic handbrake (Six performance), the short shift system (Buddyclub) and a brake force distributor.
Next week we will make the brakelines. Since Showoff Imports is a official HEL Brakelines production facility and distributor, this shouldn’t be that difficult for us
Tot zover dus!
Komende week remleidingen afmaken, electronica erin etc....
Nog VEEL te doen voor we rijdend zijn
Stay tuned at www.projectdc5.com
