Hello, I'm from Oregon, USA and I own a DC2 Type-R. I have talked with a few of the Club Benelux members and I was referred to this site. My car is 100% original and has about 34,000 miles (not k/m's).
My poorly translated Dutch/Mijn slecht vertaald Nederlands:

Thanks for the comments guys! I'm glad the translation is decent. I just use translate.google.com for most of my translations.

I think that that really does look better then how it is on a UKDM
On mine it's just the ebreak and underneat the ebrake you find the number badge.

Yep, North American R's are the only ones on the padded armrest. Here's a comparison:
