I was just looking into some ECU options for Wesjes fd2 and both new civics are not compatible with the Hondata systems because of the electronic throttle.
Right we all know that, anyway!
I was looking into the Autronic SM4 ECU and this seems to be working fine with good gains for the UK crowd.
The Autronic ECU does not use the IACV to control the idle so this works fine on the new K20a.
Does anybody have more info on this?
Might be a good option for the fn2 guys out there to gain some horses.
Autronic SM4 ECU (fn2)
Yeah I know man, but I think the plan is to do major modifications to the car within a short span of time.
So right now Autronic is the only thing that works on the fd2!
There are other stand alone ECUs but Autronic seems to be the best option.
Im going for K-Pro with my ep3 thats for sure.
The main reason I was checking actually was because I was considering the fd2 RRC intake manifold.
But the RBC is as good as identical and gains are the same so there is really no point you are correct!

Hmm, sounds interesting. There really isn't much aftermarket stuff for the FN2 jet...
I'm still not sure what to do with my FN2. My first thought was to leave it stock for the first 3 years (it's partly financed). After that i'm not sure what I want. Maybe if the CR-Z is out by that time, I'll trade it in. If so, it will be poor investments in my FN2. On the other hand, it so nice to give it some extra HP's.
Then there's the matter of my ED9, which sole purpose is to give it some more HP's  But I wanne do it as low cost as possible. Just for the fun of it.
Damn, choices... Anyhow, please keep us posted if you (or anybody else) finds some nice stuff for the FN2, thanks.
Grtz
