Thank you, for all the welcomes to the forum. You are all a friendly group :D
Reference The Honda Euro Tour we have 27 cars interested so far and if anybody off here would like to attend you are more than welcome. Perhaps you would like to do the full tour excluding the ferry from the UK or perhaps join us for certain sections. The last weekend of the tour will be at the Nurburgring. it would be great to meet up with you all.
Obviously if people are worried about the security of money, don't worry. The hotel costs are paid directly to a very large travel company or perhaps you could pay directly to the hotels. There are no other costs involved only fuel and the odd toll charge.
70% of the 27 people don't know each other so you wont be like the new boy at school.
I am a moderator on www.hondas-on-track.com and the main organisor. I tried to post the tour on your future meets section but its locked for me. So if your moderators would like to post it in that section that would be great.
In the UK we have a few Type R forums who are all part of this tour
http://civictype-r.co.uk/phpbb2/index.php (this is the biggest forum)
http://www.itr-dc5.com/forum/index.php
http://www.type-r-owners.co.uk/
http://www.type-r.org/forum/index.php
http://www.itr-dc2.com/forum/index.php
http://www.hondas-on-track.com/forums/index.php

I have also asked Sammy off http://forum.hondarevolutions.com/index.php if their club wants to be part of the tour.

Someone asked about the wind deflectors on the car, I think you worded it as a visor. They are an official JDM part and you can get them for the CTR

I know they were a DC2 JDM part, klik but didn't know they were there for CTR's though...
Because of www.passwordjdm.com I know them as window visors .
Still think they look bad-ass!

We'll discuss the tour in our club, and if enough interested members want to go along we'll definitely put it up in the Meetings section.

I'll talk to Sammy later this week and see if we can get this on the Honda Revolutions radar as well.

You still haven't told me your real name though Turbo5 :!:

Don't know if they reffer to bra sizes with numbers in the UK, too?
But I think it just sounds nice :-)

The UK participants have now paid their deposits, and we have 25 cars taking place. upto 40-50 people. :D we have a real cross section of cars, mainly CTR's also a JDM CTR, DC5, a yellow JDM DC2, S2000, ATR and even a old mini with a CTR engine.
We have people attending from various forums and various countries. we have
England,
Scotland
Ireland
wales
France,
and hopefully the Netherlands :?:
Obviously you don't need to pay a deposit as there is no ferry crossing to worry about.
I will keep Aiyoko informed when we start to organise accomodation so if anyone wants to join the tour they are welcome.
Please remember its none profit making and the only costs you will pay is the accomodation and your fuel and spending money.
