S2000 just moved to the netherlands

Post by HeavyRightFooT »

Hi there !

First sorry I dont realy speak dutch yet but I'm taking lesson so I'm working on it :)

Moved to the netherlands in january and still looking for a nice honda community ... I was member of the Italian s2000 club and had a great time overthere so I'm looking around here to find other honda fans.
unfortunately I didnt fund a proper s2000 club here, so even if technically my s2000 isnt Type-R I thought I would jump in and say hello.

I'm french but was living in Italy until now, and relocated to Hilversum to work as a designer for a big sports brand here.

I love track days and meets (been to Zandvoort and the Nurburgring already) and you find a pic. of my S here under as introduction... :)
It still has italian plate right now but will pass (hopefuly) homologation soon and switch to dutch plates.

It has Bilsten springs, ebc discs and redstuff pads, spoon intake and filter and a custom exhaust made in italy.

Cya around ...

Bienvenu - Bienvenuti - Welcome HRF (what's your real name btw?) :zwaaien:

Even though we are the Type R club we always welcome true Honda enthusiasts, whether they even own a Honda or not!

We often have meets, it would be nice to see you at one. There a NSX tour of the Ardennes coming up, perhaps you could join us.
There are also a few of us who are into the whole trackday experience, you'll soon spot us if you read carefully!

Also, I would like to praise you for the fact that even though our forum rules are in Dutch, you've managed to use the proper netiquette and introduce yourself first before posting in other sections 8)

You'd be surprised at how often even Dutch forum users neglect this simple request.

Greetings from me to!

Always loved the S. You just watch out with this Dutch wheather, though.
Are you a long time S2k driver?

The Dutch S2k site isn't worth being. I, in fact, wanted to join that forum. But however one of them is an old teacher of mine of a former school, I just couldn't see the point. This forum is much better, even for tech. support. you'll see.

You wil find we have a few s2k drivers here also (s2kjan and Nyther are 2 but there are more)

Enjoy your stay

Welcome! And maybe it's time for a hardtop for your S, as our wheather isn't that good :S
